AN INDEPENDENT CANDIDATE FOR CALIFORNIA'S 48TH

Welcome! Thanks for popping in during back to school and the start of Fall! We wanted to tell you a little bit about who we are and what we’re all about. Spoiler alert: We are you! We are Huntington, Laguna, Newport, and Seal Beach - Aliso Viejo, Laguna Niguel, Costa Mesa and Santa Ana - just to name a few.

We are the 48th District of California.

We are native and transplant Southern Californians that are sick and tired of the status quo in Washington D.C. For the 20 and 30-somethings among us, we’ve spent literally our entire lives watching two parties bicker back and forth with too few discernible differences and far too many times when they put party ahead of country. From Government Shutdowns and Fiscal Cliffs, to fighting Middle East terrorists in power vacuums we didn’t create, and trying to find jobs in an economy we didn’t crash, we’ve had enough.

We believe that there are problems here at home and across the nation that need fixing. We also believe that on some things, California has proven that it has solutions to those problems. Simply put: We Have Things To Do, and we believe the voters of the 48th District of California feel the same way. There’s no more time for petty partisanship. There are too many very real issues that need fixing, now.

They say necessity is the mother of invention. When no good option presents itself, make one. It is for that reason, we are asking you to join us in supporting Kevin Kensinger as Independent candidate for Representative of California’s 48th District.

Already up on this site, you’ll find our "First Five" policy standpoints. These First Five are issues you may already be aware of, but we feel they’re a good preview of solutions we see because We Have Things To Do. Check back routinely; we’ll be adding interactive content and new policy standpoints throughout the next weeks and months.

No matter who you vote for - VOTE! It's the only way Democracy works. The primary election is June 5, 2018!

It's time to lead, California. We Have Things To Do.
