Hello and welcome to our site!

Please, venture in. You may notice that we're missing all of the partisan talking points being shouted back and forth everywhere else on the internet. You'll also be hard pressed to find the names of any celebrity politicians, or even the names of either major political party.

The reason is simple: we're angry, we're frustrated - but more than anything - we have things to do and playing party politics just isn't one of them.

We're optimistic that this is a time for new leaders to rise, with new solutions to challenge the status-quo. Today, there are real problems and we know California has the solutions for Washington D.C.

As the nation's #1 economy, it's most populated state and the world's 6th largest economy, California has the economic and social solutions we need, now.

Here in CA-48, we are native and transplant Southern Californians - we are Huntington, Laguna, Newport, and Seal Beach - Aliso Viejo, Laguna Niguel, Costa Mesa and Santa Ana - just to name a few. We are the 48th District of California.

Within CA-48, voters are registered into three roughly even groups - one third in each of the two major parties, and one third NPP (no-party-preference/independent). In 2016 we collectively voted for an incumbent Congressman re-elected since 1988, and a presidential candidate of the opposite party... we did the same in 2008.

We're not as binary as they make us out to be.

For the 20 and 30-somethings among us, we’ve spent literally our entire lives watching two parties bicker back and forth with too few discernible differences and far too many times when they put party ahead of country. From Government Shutdowns and Fiscal Cliffs, to fighting Middle East terrorists in power vacuums we didn’t create, and trying to find jobs in an economy we didn’t crash, we’ve had enough.

They say necessity is the mother of invention.

When no good option presents itself, make one.

It is for that reason, we are asking you to join us in supporting Kevin Kensinger as Independent candidate for Representative of California’s 48th District in the U.S. House of Representatives.

Already up on this site, you’ll find the start of our "To Do List" - policy standpoints and solutions we're passionate about. Help with your bills. Help with your health insurance, the opioid epidemic, 3.6 million pounds of nuclear waste being buried at a local surf spot, green energy infrastructure, and a public bank... These are issues you may already be aware of, but we feel they’re a good preview of the solutions we're bringing to the Middle-Class.

Ultimately, this election is about you, not the candidates, not the incumbent, not the President.

No matter who you vote for - VOTE! It's the only way Democracy works. The primary election is June 5, 2018! California has an open primary - anyone can vote for anyone (regardless of party) and the top two vote winners move on to the General Election in November.

Check back routinely - we’ll be adding interactive content and new policy standpoints throughout the next weeks and months.

It's time to lead, California. We Have Things To Do.
